    im at chap 1400 should i keep reading? it doesn't feel all that exciting. he inherited shadow sect and he has too many gus and techniques now. i remember in early chapters author would explain all the different GUs and techniques but it's not like that anymore. I don't understand MC's strength too many techniques very all over the place but his methods aren't actually that strong. Also he seems to keep getting f*ck*d over idk.

    It's kinda crazy how in spite of the fact that this novel hasn't updated in years, I'm fairly sure I've only seen it drop from the top 10 once or twice (if ever) and right now it's even rank 2. Goes to show just how peak it is though ig 😤🙏

    I remember reading the manhua of this but the releasing stopped at chapter 90 maybe, it was good covering some of the childhood of the mc but I am guessing the real story starts later on? can someone spoil me some details, if I want reread this from the beginning here, I want something to look forward to..

      So just read until the end of first volume and then you can understand how good this is I think it end In chapter 200 And I heard About manhua that it don't have a lot of different with novel and it is almost exact same , so you can just continue from where manhua ended ( dropped) without a problem

    Now, that I am over with my depression. The ending of the RI is actually a masterpiece, if you think about it using reverse physiology. fang yuan did everything he could to achieve his goal's but failed. If fang yuan achieved his goals, it would be just like " Yay, he achieved eternal life ". But this ending is best ending since, the reason Fang yuan failed makes a lot of sense.

      Take a break. It's that simple. I am currently at 744 and I also don't wanna continue. I took a break around 250-ish chapter and it's my second break. Continue whenever you feel like it and read other non-cultivation novels or you can entirely stop reading and do something else.

      The payoff for him being stuck with the immortal zombie body is the best I've seen so far in novels. I'll just say all the suffering he goes through with it will be equal or greater to the benefits he receives in the future. Whenever Gu Zhen Ren makes Fang Yuan suffer it's always for a reason
